Tragedy in NZ

Its nearly been a year since I last blogged, not that anyone cares and read my blog anyways.

Yesterday was the one week remembrance of the 2011 Christchurch earthquake, it claim many lives and caused hectic chaos to the people of Christchurch, people of New Zealand and to the people of the world. This tragedy brought the city and the nation great sadness, not only were there a tremendous number of people died (154, expected death toll: 200+) but there was also buildings, houses, monuments and symbolic Christchurch structures were destroyed in this disaster. one week on some Christchurch residents are still left stranded with out telecommunication, electricity and running water. I will be praying for the people who were affected in this tragedy. To the people who lost loved ones or close friends I am feeling the pain and my thoughts are with you guys! And to the people that are still at missing or waiting to be rescued, I hope that rescue teams reach you ASAP!




This has been a sad week for all New Zealanders. We as a nation can get through this and rebuild for the future! Hope is a good thing, hope never dies, it is what keeps us alive and gets us through the toughest of situations.

It is great to see that some of us do have hope of restarting.

Lets hope that this is not a sign telling use that the world is coming to an end.

dreams coming true?

well it looks like my hard work that I've put in has paid off, but it doesn't mean the hard work stops here.

life is all about pursuing the things u are passionate about, things that you love, and things that you care for. Alfred Lord Tennyson an english poet said "The happiness of a man in this life does not consist in the absence but in the mastery of his passions." in life, happiness is not always present, there are always obstacles that will prevent and try slow you down from pursuing the these things from your life. "The more difficulties one has to encounter, within and without, the more significant and the higher in inspiration his life will be."

happiness and joyfulness is when you know that you hav full filled part of your dream. but dreams forever lives on. "Happy are those who dream dreams and are ready to pay the price to make them come true."

Just got bored and shit, should really be doin my lab report.

set goal vs. realilty

There's a goal that i want to achieve for this part of the year. And this goal is for me to make the u21s auckland basketball team this season. in order for me to make the team this season, i would have to play the best basketball that I've ever played in my life time, and i would have to step up my level of play to the level of the team. The team this season will be filled with many skilled players, some of whom has been playing in NBL and CBL teams in the past.

reality is that, it be extremely hard and highly unlikely that ill make the team, but I'm gona play the best i can every time i play to try achieve one of my goals for this year.

Will LA Lakers defend the title this season(09-10)?

I hope the Lakers do well this year,and they should as they have great playoff experience on their side. The Thunders are looking quite strong, but they lack playoff experience.
